Summer and Fall 2017 Workshops: Register Today!

Elementary and Secondary Teachers, Administrators, and Instructional Coaches

Mathematics (Grades 2-5 on Day 1)

Math Fluency is so much more than memorization of math facts and equations. Procedural fluency in mathematics is essential to a student’s ability to apply math concepts accurately and efficiently. Let our experts show you how the TEKS are structured vertically and horizontally to develop a conceptual understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. "Step Up and All In” for the current research and TEKS structure to provide a roadmap to take students from learning basic skills to masters of fluency!

Mathematics (Grades 6-Algebra I on Day 2)

TEKS specificity and vertical alignment make teaching mathematics more focused at each grade level. Learn how to understand each person’s role in a learning community to increase teacher focus, develop engaging lessons, and streamline lesson planning. "Step Up and All In” for simplifying TEKS and increasing student comprehension!

ELA: Reading and Writing (Grades 3-5 on Day 2 and Grades 6-8 on Day 1)

Do you truly understand the Reading TEKS well enough to focus instruction? Can your students link the question to evidence in the passage that leads to the correct answer? Students must be taught how to read critically and follow the author’s communication strategies to feel, see, and completely understand the content. GF Educators, Inc. will use the TEKS to focus instruction on author’s strategies for writing and understanding reading content. "Step Up and All In” to make reading and writing the star of your school!
